Actor/Writer/Director Kurt Fitzpatrick comes to Fresno for a limited time, for these special workshops!
KIDS/TEENS WORKSHOP:
Learn how to be positive, take risks, and focus on the people you're working with. This class will create a fun and supportive environment for kids to learn the basics of creating improv through games, play, and spontaneous stories.

TEEN/ADULT WORKSHOP:
Discover the joy of spontaneity through improvisation. Learn the art of thinking and acting without the slightest idea what will come next. Learn exercises and games that build confidence and improve listening. The focus is on playing together, energy, commitment, teamwork, trust, making others look good, and the basic rules of improvisation.

ABOUT KURT:
Kurt Fitzpatrick has performed in over forty theatre festivals throughout North America with his solo shows Hooray for Speech Therapy, Rebel Without a Niche, The Last Straight Man In Theatre, and Cathedral City. In 2012, along with his touring, Kurt was a cast member in the London Fringe nightly sketch comedy revueNO Show. In New York Kurt co-wrote and acted in several sketch comedy and improv revues with the troupe Unusual Suspects, and performed improv with the troupes Klaatu and The Tenderloins. He toured with the National Theatre for Children, played the lead role in the play 52 Pick-Up at the Gene Frankel Theatre and a leading role in the musical Black Peter at Stage Left. As a filmmaker, Kurt wrote and directed the feature film Kin, which played in the New Filmmakers Series in New York as well as in the Brooklyn Film Festival. Kurt is currently a regular performer in Sunday Night Improv and Lindy Loo's Country Cuzins variety show in New York. He is a graduate of Temple University and trained at HB Studios, Second City, and Upright Citizens Brigade. He lives in Brooklyn.
