ABOUT BETH
Beth Megill received her MFA from UC Irvine (2003), and her BFA from UC Santa Barbara (2001). Working full-time at Moorpark College in southern California, Beth currently teaches a variety of dance subjects including Modern, Ballet, Jazz, Tap, Dance History, Choreography and Social Dance. In her class, she strives to explore the fundamental elements of movement as it relates to all dance styles. With a background in Massage Therapy she integrates anatomy and kinesiology thoroughly into her technique classes. Beth is co-founder and co-artistic director of Megill & Company, under which she and her sister Heather create new musicals and collaborative performances between musicians and dancers. Megill & Company wowed Rogue audiences in 2012 with their performance, Assemblings IV. They are thrilled to return to the Rogue Festival this year with their presentation of Ah! That's My Dance Body!, a quirky and fun exploration of the anatomy of the dancer.
