The “Distinguished Citizen Award” dinner serves three purposes:
1. To salute Dan for his dedicated service to Scouting and volunteering in our community.
2. To increase awareness of the role of Scouting in our community and its accomplishments in serving our youth, particularly in our Central Valley.
3. To raise Scouting “growth dollars” to support outreach to at-risk youth.
