MUD 'N BLOOD ZOMBIE RUN - BENEFITING ST JUDE CHILDREN'S HOSPITAL

The Grove in Sanger is hosting a family friendly day, benefiting the St. Jude Children’s Hospital on Sunday June 2, 2013 beginning at 7am. The Mud ‘n Blood Zombie Run is a 2.5k or 5k course (or you can just walk)through Zombie infested blueberry fields, tree lined roads, over and through water crossings plus ups and downs and ins and outs obstacles. Some are difficult; some are very difficult. All obstacles can be “skipped” but zombies will be sure that you live with the shame. Each runner will start with three flags. The object of the race is to finish the course as fast as possible with at least one flag remaining! Zombies on the trail will attempt to “infect” you by stealing your flags. “Medics” will be on hand to nurse you to health (give you back one flag, one time). Teams of any size can run or you can run on your own. There are prizes for craziest running wear to best dressed team! After you run, stay for the Life After Death Party! There will be food, drinks and live music for all to enjoy plus a beer garden for those 21 years of age and older! There are plenty of areas to sit and relax under shade trees and enjoy the fun.
