There's so much going on this weekend, from a sandcastle competition, to spending a night at the Fresno Metropolitan Museum. All the fun starts Thursday at the Madera County Fair. KSEE 24's Pamela Prado has your Hot Ticket Report.
"Gettin' Figgy with It" is the theme for this year's Madera County Fair. Concerts include Good Charlotte and Peter Frampton. The fair runs Thursday through Sunday. Hours are 5 to 11 p.m. on Thursday and Friday. Gates open two hours earlier Saturday and Sunday. Tickets are $7 for adults, $4 for children 6 to 12, and 5 and under are free. Madera County Fair
The annual Kerman Harvest Festival also runs Thursday through Sunday. Enjoy a carnival, a kids pavillion, and lots of food vendors. Gates open at 5 p.m. Thursday and Friday, 11 a.m. on Saturday and noon on Sunday. Admission is $5 for adults, $3 for kids 5-12. Children 4 and under are free. Kerman Harvest Festival
Head to Sierra Vista Mall on Thursday to enjoy live music, while picking up fresh produce at the Farmers' Market. All the fun takes place from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. near the movie theatre. "Pirate Radio" will be performing. Click on the link below for more information:

Learn all about California wines and artisan cheeses at the Fresno Metropolitan Museum on Thursday. The Science of Wine series features wine tasting, hors d'oeuvres, and a lecture. It's at 6 p.m. and costs $20 for museum members and $25 for non members. Kids can enjoy a special night at the museum too. Children in first through sixth grades can stay overnight Saturday inside the Fresno Met. The theme is Build Like Bob (as in Bob the Builder). The cost is $40 for members and $50 for non members. Celebrate Mexican Independence Day at Fiestas Patrias in Downtown Fresno. Enjoy traditional Mexican food on the Fulton Mall on Friday. Live music and dancers will perform Saturday and Sunday. Fiestas Patrias
The beach comes to Fresno's Roeding Park on Saturday. A sand castle competition, put on by the American Institute of Architects, will take place from 8 a.m. to noon.
