The holiday spirit is in the air, especially on the Madera Wine Trail this weekend. And you won't want to miss talented young musicians at a band competition in Fresno. KSEE 24's Pamela Prado has the details in your Hot Ticket Report.

Central High School is hosting the Central Valley Fall Band
Festival on Saturday. Ten bands from around the valley will be competing in a field show at Koligian Stadium. Tickets are $10 for adults, $7 for seniors and students, and $2 for kids 2 and under.

See beautiful homes on Huntington Boulevard as part of the Historical Home Tour, put on by the Fresno Historical Society. On Friday, tour five homes and enjoy an autumn supper. Tickets are $50 a person. Or, tour homes from noon to 4 on Saturday. Tickets are $30.

Get into the holiday spirit this weekend on the Madera Wine Trail! The annual wine tasting weekend will have you sipping wine and sampling gourmet food, while checking out local art displays. It's from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday. The cost is $25.

The third annual Red Heart Ball is on Saturday night at the Fresno Convention Center. Enjoy a night of casino games, live music, dinner, and an auction, all while helping out the Ronald McDonald House. Tickets are $50.

It's the last weekend to enjoy Storyland and Playland, located in Fresno's Roeding Park. The 2009 season will wrap up on Sunday. Hours Saturday and Sunday are 10:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. The closure will allow time for all the improvements at the children's amusement park you'll see when the park reopens in the spring.
