Acupuncture and other forms of alternative or complimentary medicine are growing in popularity. Now, they're even available for our pets.
Dr. Lisa Boyer of Fresno's Veterinary Specialty Services offers acupuncture, Chinese herbology, and food therapy to dogs and cats.
She says these therapies are used in conjunction with traditional treatment and can assist with pain management, gastrointestinal problems, endocrine and dermatological disorders, and some behavioral problems.
