African-American women have almost twice the rate of advanced breast cancer than Caucasian women, but they're not getting the care they need.
A study finds one in four African American women with late stage breast cancer refuse potentially life-saving treatments.
The West Fresno Health Care Coalition says the problem exists in the Fresno area. The Coalition has received a $15,000 grant to spread breast cancer awareness in the West Fresno community.
