September is Prostate Cancer Awareness Month, a time for men to learn how to protect themselves from the disease. A simple blood test called a P-S-A test, can help detect Prostate Cancer, but Fresno area Urologist, Dr. Anthony H. Horan says most men should opt out. He's written a book called, "The Big Scare: the Business of Prostate Cancer."

This doctor is certainly not the only one to think there's money being made doing unnecessary testing and treatment. There have been several big recent studies recently that also question the routine use of the PSA test. The doctor must feel very strongly about this topic to buck the system.
