The Code 3 For A Cure campaign made a stop at Fresno Fire Station 9, to ask local firefighters to join the fight against cancer. The cross-country and Canadian tour serves as a warning to fire crews that they are at an increased risk of cancer. The Code 3 For A Cure engine is manned by Lorenzo Abundiz and John McKnight. Abundiz is a retired fire fighter and a three time cancer survivor.
