VISALIA— The Visalia Rawhide and California Fitness Academy are pleased to announce a new community outreach partnership that will focus on promoting the importance of living a healthy lifestyle. This joint venture, The Change Your Life Project, will give a select number of Tulare County residents the chance to challenge themselves to change their lives through free training and lifestyle education from California Fitness Academy. The Rawhide will promote the program throughout the summer with live in-game contests and interactive training booths. In August, a winner will be determined through Facebook voting and will receive a FREE party for 50 people in the Rawhide Hall of Fame Club as well as a FREE membership at California Fitness Academy.

"The community of Visalia and Tulare County is very important to me. I am motivated and determined to create a mindset that focuses on healthy and positive living. We are teaming up with the Visalia Rawhide to create a powerful program. This "Change Your Life" Project will impact the community in such a positive way,” says California Fitness Academy owner Justin Levine.

Rawhide Director of Groups and Ticketing, Charlie Saponara, has big aspirations for the Change Your Life Project, “As an organization, we are always looking for ways to impact the communities of Visalia and Tulare in a positive way and this is another fantastic step forward in that effort.”

“Through this project, we intend not only to change the lives of the contestants involved, but change the lives of everyone who follows their journey. It’s not just about staying fit and working hard, it’s about keeping a positive mindset in everything that you do. We believe that California Fitness Academy and Rawhide Baseball convey that message,” Saponara says.

Anyone who wishes to apply to be a contestant in the Change Your Life Project can do so via the Rawhide and California Fitness Academy Facebook pages.
