CHP Investigate Triple Fatal Hit And Run

California Highway Patrol is investigating a fatal hit and run accident.
Three people were killed on their way work just before 6:00 a.m. Friday morning.

Investigators say the driver of a big rig took off after hitting a Suburban with eight people inside. Three of them were killed the others were treated for moderate injuries.

CHP says the Suburban and big rig were going opposite directions on a two lane road. Investigators are trying to figure out who passed over the center line to cause the massive crash.

Family and friends of the victims gathered at the scene to remember. Maria Flores says she lost three friends. She says they were good people.

CHP is asking for your help to find the truck driver. The vehicle is described as a big rig carrying a load of grapes in green bins.
