Kason's mother, Heather Ray has requested and has been denied a special exemption to have a pig for her special needs child. So she defied the city and bought Twinkie anyway. Now she's waiting for any fallout.

A Florida mother is battling city officials over a pet pig she says provides comfort to her son with Down’s syndrome.
Heather Ray bought “Twinkie” for her 8-year-old son Kason Ray back in September, but the city of Coral Springs says its against the rules to keep pigs as pets.
"It's important for people with special needs to be accepted," Heather told the Sun Sentinel of her son’s need for the therapy animal.
