A Clovis teacher accused of molesting a 7 year old student made another court appearance on Wednesday, this time pleading not guilty to charges of child molestation.

Bail was also set for Neng Yang at $4.5 million dollars. He is expected to return to court on February 8th.

Neng Yang, 43, was arrested Friday and accused of inappropriate behavior with a student in the classroom. Police began investigating Yeng when a parent came forward after their child told them what was going on.

Yang is facing a total of 18 counts of molestation with a child under 10, allegations Clovis Unified School District says come as a shock.
The charges against Yang suggest the sexual incidents with the child happened numerous times.

At this point there is only one victim but Clovis Unified and police believe there may be more and police are urging other victims to come forward.

If convicted, Yang faces 15 to 30 years in prison.
