A high school teacher in Clovis was arrested Thursday, accused of having sex with one of his students.
Fresno Police say Andrew Cardillo was arrested for having sex with a child under 18, oral copulation, and "sexual penetration with a foreign object with a child."
Andrew Cardillo is currently on administrative leave from the school district. He has been a drama teacher at Clovis North High School since 2007.
Jessica Williams is a student at Clovis North High School. She says can't believe a teacher was arrested for sex crimes. She says, "I hope it's not one of my friends. I hope all my friends are safe."
