Fresno County sheriff's officials are searching for those responsible for a home invasion robbery over the weekend that left two people beaten and bloodied.

Deputies responding to the incident in the 3500 block of South East Avenue found a 58 year old man and 44 year old woman with injuries from being beaten with handguns and a metal pipe.

Investigators learned two men entered the residence just before 6:00 a.m. and forced the victims to the floor while they ransacked the home, stealing several items.

At the same time, another man and a woman broke into a trailer home on the property and stole several items of property as well. All four suspects eventually fled, possibly in a smaller white colored vehicle.

Both victims were transported to Community Regional Medical Center for treatment of their injuries. Their conditions are unknown.

Anyone with information on this case is asked to contact the Sheriff’s Office at 488-3111, or CrimeStoppers at 498-STOP(7867).
