A father, his son and daughter have been arrested over a string of bank hold ups.

Ronald Catt and his children are believed to be behind at least half a dozen robberies in Oregon and Texas.

Catt, 50, and his 20 year old son Hayden are alleged to have carried out the raids while 18 year old Abigail acted as the getaway driver.

As well as several raids in Texas, they are wanted for questioning over five bank robberies in their home town of Portland, Oregon.

The 'family robbers' were arrested by police in Houston, Texas, following a hold up at a branch of the 1st Community Credit Union on October 1st.

Investigators said the father and son entered the bank with guns and wore orange traffic vests and dark sunglasses as a disguise.

The son wore a fake mustache and the father a painter’s mask.

Investigators were able to link the suspects to other bank robberies based on the disguises that were worn.

Hayden and Abby Catt were videotaped purchasing the orange vests with their father's debit card.

Ronald Catt was later videotaped purchasing a painter's mask.

Father and son were linked to the August robbery of a Comerica Bank in Houston.
