First Court Apearance for Clovis Teacher Accused of Having Sex With Student

A high school teacher from Clovis, accused of having sex with one of his students, made his first appearance in a Fresno courtroom on Friday.

Andrew Cardillo is a drama teacher at Clovis North High School. He was arrested on August 25th. He has been on administrative leave from the school district since that time. Cardillo has been teaching at Clovis North since since 2007.

No complaint has yet to be filed in the case and Cardillo will be back in court on September 23rd.
