Fresno police continue their investigation into a fatal shooting at a liquor store.

It happened just after 11:00 p.m. on Thursday at the "Super-1" on Tulare and 7th. When officers arrived, they found one clerk, Kashmir Manes, had been shot and another suffering from being hit in the head. He has recovered.

The Manes later died at a hospital. The news comes as a shock to many in the neighborhood, who say the men were not just workers, but friends.

"It's rough, it's rough, it's just rough. I don't know what's going on, they're real nice guys, both of them," said Fermin Gonzalez.

"Yeah they're great, jokin' with me all the time. The nicest guys I've ever met," said Federico Rendon.

Some people have been dropping off candles in the parking lot. A vigil is expected to be held there Friday at 7:30 p.m. No arrests have been made.
