Saint Agnes Medical Center will be laying off 75 employees due to a decline in the number of patients.
According to a media statement, the Saint Agnes Medical Center as well as the healthcare industry continues to experience significant financial challenges due to declining volumes and slow economic recovery.
In response to those challenges, Saint Agnes Medical Center has decided to re-size and re-calibrate its resources in order to compensate for a reduction in labor.
Of the 75 employees, all individuals will receive competitive separation packages based on years of service and employment status, according to the media statement.
