Adalynn Willett is special for many reasons, and not just because the two-year-old lived the first 850 days of her life in a Texas hospital.
“There’s just so much more to the story than how long she’s been in the hospital,” father Bryan Willett told the Daily News on Thursday. “There were so many amazing things that happened.”
Adalynn was born with her intestines and liver outside her body. Over the past 850 days she’s had 28 surgeries -- an average of one a month for every month she's been alive.
