2 have been confirmed dead, and one arrested for DUI, after a horrific collision near Laton.
A third person was taken to the hospital.
CHP says the incident began with one car trying to pass traffic on Highway 43 near Cairo Ave.
A pick-up truck in the opposite lane swerved to avoid a head on collision, overturned, and took out a power pole.
