October 13, 2012 Updated Oct 13, 2012 at 1:17 PM PDT

The quarterback and two other members of the Mt. Pleasant High School football team were arrested Wednesday and charged with raping a child who became pregnant.

Princeton Harlan, 18, was taken into custody at the school, accused of having sex with a girl under the age of 13 in July.

Two other Mt. Pleasant High School students, ages 16 and 17, were also arrested, but, as juveniles, their names were not released.

Maury County Sheriff's Det. Tony Bailey said the 12-year-old victim became pregnant after having consensual sex with the three teens.

According to the Columbia Daily Herald, the pregnancy was terminated, and the FBI is processing DNA evidence to determine paternity.

Harlan was booked into the Maury County Jail and released after posting a $100,000 bond.
