The Jury has reached a verdict in the lawsuit filed by the father of Seth Ireland. Joe Hudson filed the suit against Child Protective Services after his son was beaten to death four years ago by the boyfriend of Ireland's mother.
The family has been awarded $8.5 million dollars - $5 million for the father and $3.5 million to Ireland's younger brother.
Responsible for the payout is Fresno County for 65% and Ireland's mother and boyfriend for 35%.
