Twenty year old Johnathon Tafoya was arrested Friday for felony child abuse and torture, after CPS contacted Kings County Sheriff's Department regarding a child being treated at Children's Hospital Of Central California with suspicious injuries.
Tafoya's seven week-old child was being treated for a broken arm, cracked rib and bruising on its head and body.
Tafoya was booked into the Kings County Jail for felony child abuse and torture with a Bail of $625,000. The child will be taken into Protective custody by Child Protective Services when released from the hospital.
