A man in Portland, Oregon has been arrested for allegedly choking his girlfriend with his dreadlocks.
Caleb Grotberg, 32, was arrested on Monday after an argument with the woman at a home turned ugly and violent, according to police.
The woman has been hospitalized with numerous, non-life-threatening injuries, police said.
Details have not emerged regarding what prompted the argument but the woman, who has not been identified, claims Grotberg attacked her and choked with her with his long strands of hair.
Portland police Sgt. Pete Simpson says the woman was in the hospital on Monday for treatment for her injuries.
