Four people have been arrested and police are seeking a fifth after a suspected pedophile was found brutally beaten, strangled and robbed outside a home.
The body of Dean Barker, 51, was found outside a brand new Washington home that was for sale on September 8. His hands had been tied behind his back, his mouth had been taped shut and a red bandanna was tied around his neck.
According to local news reports, a red bandanna is the sign of a local blood gang.
Angela King, 24, William Barry, 33, Justin Mahaffey, 23, and Aileenah Horton, 17, have been arrested, but have yet to be charged in the murder.
Police are still looking for Jeffrey W. Powell, II, 30. He was been charged with first-degree murder, robbery and kidnapping.
According to court documents, two of those arrested have accused Barker of sexually assaulted them in the weeks before his death. One of the men arrested told authorities Barker had molested a three-year-old girl.'
County Prosecutor Mark Lindquist says it's not clear 'if this is a case of vigilante revenge or if the allegation of sexual assault is just a cover story'.
