Santa and his helpers kept busy Saturday, delivering Christmas gifts to thousands of kids in the valley. One of their first stops was Cornerstone Church in Downtown Fresno. More than 2,000 kids were treated like rock stars as they entered a Christmas wonderland. They were escorted by their favorite Disney characters as they received their presents.

Cornerstone Church Pastor Jim Franklin explained, “One of the things we try to do is make memories. Not just receiving a toy but making a memory for those who come through here.”

“It means a chance for me my children, and our family to see what the world is able to do. Produce for others who are a little needy,” said parent Dan Espinoza.

Santa also visited hundreds of kids in Kingsburg. Policemen, fire and medical crews helped out.

And Santa didn’t forget about little Abby Needham in Clovis. Santa's helpers came in uniform to drop off her presents. The Guardians of the Ribbon and Fresno County Pink Heals Chapter also gave a helping hand. Abby, 4-years-old, is battling a rare brain cancer, but the only thing on her mind at that moment was opening all her presents. Her father, Duncan Needham, expressed, “To have this surprise happen to us, it lets us know that there is still a lot of people out there on our side, knowing that they are helping Abby and other children fight this terrible disease.”
