A mother from Tulare County has been arrested on child endangerment charges after her five children were found home alone on Friday.
Ruby Corona Sepulveda, 29, was arrested by sheriff's deputies around Friday afternoon after the children were discovered after several dropped 911 calls came from the residence. Deputies say the children, between the ages of 1 and 8, had been alone all day.
Deputies also found electric blankets wrapped around an electric space heater when they arrived.
Child welfare services currently have custody of the children.
