What's More Popular Than Congress? Think Colonoscopies and Cockroaches says Poll

Congress is less popular than cockroaches, used car salesmen, colonoscopies, traffic jams and Donald Trump - but is better liked than the Kardashians, Lindsey Lohan and meth labs, according to a new poll Tuesday.

After dragging the country to the brink of the fiscal cliff of massive tax hikes and budget cuts, Congress has a favorable rating of only 9% while 85% view it unfavorably, according to the survey by Public Policy Polling.

The survey asked 830 registered voters to choose between Congress and 26 mostly unpopular people, places and things, from NFL replacement refs to colonoscopies. Congress lost most of the matchups.

Lawmakers lost to the replacement refs, 29%-56%; to France, 37%-46%; to Genghis Khan, 37%-41%; and to the band Nickelback, 32%-39%.

Colonoscopies beat Congress, 58%-31%. Cockroaches also finished on top, 45%-43%.
