After Coach Batesole addressed the crowd, players from the championship Fresno State baseball team came up to the podium to express their appreciation for the support from Fresno fans.

As an alumni of Fresno State and a resident of the Omaha area I was thrilled to be able to attend the CWS in support of the Diamond Dogs. As the Dogs continued on their victory path, the local fans, unaware of the power of the Red Wave and it's fan base, came to realize and support the Wonder Dogs. Thanks to all the coaches and players for providing a longtime Fresno State fan with the opportunity to witness the greatest show on dirt, Fresno State style.
