Sherie Roberts of Clovis has had one busy year. She's a SF Giants fan and got to throw out a first pitch at a recent Fresno Grizzlies game. She also completed her first half-marathon and graduated from Fresno State. She also was diagnosed and is recovering from breast cancer.
She is a very busy and dedicated mom and is determined to stay that way and not allow the cancer to get in the way.
Sherie was diagnosed with cancer in June of last year, after she noticed some changes in her breast. The cancer was caught fairly early and now she's recovering. She now plans to help spread the word about the importance of early detection every chance she gets.
