    59-year-old Barbara Edens is battling breast cancer. She discovered a suspicious lump in her right breast while doing a breast self exam. Her doctor ordered a mammogram and cancer was detected in her left breast. Edens encourages all women to see their doctor if they find anything suspicious. She says, "It could save your life!"

    Fresno artist Chris Sorensen is creating a giant metal bra to be displayed during the month of October for breast cancer awareness. The Fresno Metropolitan Museum will display the sculpture in its courtyard in full view of museum patrons and motorists on Van Ness Avenue.

The third time, a mammogram found it. Centeno is now recovering from surgery, but plans to attend the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure on Saturday, October 25th in Fresno.
