Property owners in the Fig Garden area honored a few good men today.
The residents handed out awards to a couple of deputies with the Fresno County sheriff's department.
The deputies have been working in the neighborhood for several years.
Folks who live in the area say they've gone beyond the call of duty and deserve special recognition.
Deputy Alan Kelzer who was given an award tonight will be moving on as a burglary detective.
