Fresno Sheriff Margaret Mims believes detectives may have found the remains of missing Sanger teen Sammy Mercado.
The discovery comes just days after the arrest of Ernie Chanmany in Utah.
Chanmany is believed to be involved in Mercado's disappearance.
Sheriff Mims held a press conference this afternoon for an update on the investigation.
She was joined by members of the Mercado family.
