Gunned Down Edison Football Player Honored at Game

An Edison football player who was shot and killed was remembered Friday night on the field.

Marquis Sutton died Monday from a gunshot wound. The alleged shooter, Terrence Lee, was in court Friday morning and plead not guilty.

Sutton's mother Sherri Wise was at Mountainview Cemetery to find a final burial place for her son. Meanwhile Sutton was honored with a moment of silence. Clovis West High School also presented a check and a bouquet of flowers to the family.

The funeral is scheduled for Thursday.
