A Visalia couple has been arrested for the attempted murder of their own baby.
The parents of the child were arrested yesterday in the emergency room of Kaweah Delta Medical Center.
Because of the severity of the head injury, the child was transported to Children's Hospital.
23 year old Omar Licon, and 24 year old Laura Castro were arrested on suspicion of attempted murder and felony child endangerment.
The cause of the injury is still under investigation.
The child is listed in critical condition.
