By KSEE News

It's being billed as the first part of a plan to turn around the troubled Granite Park development in Fresno. But, a nightclub scheduled to open in the space where the defunct Cabo Wabo was is still facing several obstacles. KSEE 24 News checked the state Department of Alcoholic Beverage Control's website and discovered that the club's liquor license has not yet been approved. The building where the club will be must still pass safety inspections before it's planned opening Friday night. And owner Kirk Vartanian must come up with a $20 thousand payment for past due water bills before the club can open on Friday. Despite the obstacles, people are working around the clock to get the club ready to open.
