Unique Bras To Help Fight Cancer

By KSEE News

A "Banner of Hope" with dozens of decorated bras hangs outside the Arts Visalia center in Visalia.

The bras have been embellished by local cancer survivors and family and friends of cancer patients as a fundraiser for the American Cancer Society.

Visalian Mary Jo Eastes came up with the idea and has collected 65 bras and more than $700 so far. The money raised will be presented to the cancer society at its Relay for Life event in September.

If you would like to donate to the "Banner of Hope", contact Arts Visalia at 739-0905.
