The biggest new attraction at the park this year is Candy Corn Acres in California Adventure. The garden features more than 6,000 pieces of decorative candy. Several Halloween-type rides and attractions will get the spotlight, including California Adventure's Tower of Terror and Disneyland's Haunted Mansion. Disneyland also features the Main Street Pumpkin Festival at Main Street U.S.A. and the show "Woody's Halloween Roundup" in Frontierland. Both parks have numerous other Halloween touches, right down to the food you can buy.
Special event: California Adventure offers Mickey's Trick-or-Treat in the Street, which lets kids go trick-or-treating after hours at the park on Thursdays and Fridays through Oct. 26 and then on Oct. 29-31.
