The East Fresno Rotary is committed to helping sick kids at Children’s Hospital. There are so many who receive critical medical care at this incredible hospital the members feel compelled to help fund the new Rotary Recovery Room.
Children’s Hospital Central California is among the 10 largest free standing children’s hospitals in the United States. They treat sick and injured children from Stockton to Bakersfield and the Sierra Nevada Mountains to the Pacific Coast. That’s a 45,000 square mile service area, the largest of any children’s hospital in the nation. Today, Children’s Hospital sees almost 12,000 inpatient cases, nearly 50,000 Emergency Department visits, and performs more than 9,000 surgeries each year.
