The new Dry Creek Park in Clovis offers ways to help residents get fit and healthy. The park is situated on the Dry Creek Trail, which is frequently used by walkers, runners, and cyclists. Along the trail, there are several stations with workout equipment, such as pull-up bars, leg presses, and balance beams. KSEE Sunrise reporter Pamela Prado spends the morning live at the park, with Councilmembers Bob Whalen and Nathan Magsig, to show you how the equipment works. The idea behind the equipment is to continue with the city's goal to promote healthy living. Magsig and Whalen often utilizing the trail themselves. This morning, they had a friendly pull-up competition. Click on "watch the video" to see who won! The park is located at the corner of Clovis and Alluvial in Clovis. There is also a large grass area, a picnic area, and several play structures for children.
