In Japan the 64Th annual Sapporo Snow Festival started Tuesday.
There was music, heavy snow and hundreds of ice sculptures on display.
Work on the sculptures begins in January when thousands of tons of snow are trucked in.
Japan's self defense forces even assist with some of the sculptures.
This year's festival runs through February eleventh.
