It may look like cruel and unusual punishment, but a judge in Georgia courtroom said he had no choice. He ordered Reginald Smith to appear bound and gagged after refusing to keep quiet during his court appearance.
But even THAT didn't stop Smith from keeping his cool. He continued to makes sounds and noises, despite being muffled by the gag. That forced the judge to have him removed from the courtroom. Now Smith, who is facing charges for allegedly pulling a gun on a police officer, will be tried in absentia.
