Two days before Thanksgiving, many valley families are wondering whether they'll have a turkey with their holiday meal. Local charities are trying to help, but donations are way down, and the food banks are running short.

We at KSEE 24 have joined forces with Catholic Charities. We're holding a turkey drive all day today (Tuesday). The turkey drive runs until 7:30 p.m. The drive was spearheaded by Sabrina Beauchamp was won $500 in the KSEE 24 Rewards program. She decided her winnings should help others who are less fortunate than she.

You can help too. Please, pick up a frozen turkey (or two or three) and drop it off at our studios. Catholic Charities will make sure the turkeys go to families who are in need. KSEE 24 is located at 5035 E. McKinley Avenue, just west of the Fresno Airport.
