Archaeologists say they've found the tomb of a very early Mayan ruler in Guatemala.
Experts say the tomb is at the Takalik Abaj temple site and the discovery could shed light on the early years of the Mayan culture.
An archaeologist says carbon dating indicates the tomb was built between 700 and 400 BC.
That's several hundred years before the Mayan classic period.
It's the oldest tomb found at the site and its discovery was actually a surprise.
Jade, decorative plates and pottery were found throughout the tomb.
