A Virginia company is introducing new technology that would make it impossible to use your phone while behind the wheel.
Origo Safe requires people to secure their phone on a docking station before they go anywhere.
That's because if your phone isn't on the dock... your car won't start.
If you remove it an alarm goes off... and you'll need a pass code to start your car again.
The ignition interlock system can be installed in any type of car and can be programmed to work with several types of phones.
So far, the device is catching the attention of both parents of young drivers and trucking companies.
