NASA has released images of a powerful solar flare.
The images of the flare were captured by NASA's solar dynamics observatory.
It was an X-class flare, which is the most powerful rating for a flare.
The flare was strong enough to briefly disrupt radios on earth.
It came after three strong flares from the same sunspot in just two days time.
