The White House has taken on a different hue in honor of National Breast Cancer Awareness month.
Going "pink" is something the White House does each October to support the battle against the disease.
National Breast Cancer Awareness month has been observed for more than 25 years.
Buckingham Palace in London was also bathed in pink light to support a breast cancer awareness drive.
Other London landmarks being lit this month include Trafalgar square, the Tower of London and Somerset House.
