High Sierra Trail Crew

By KSEE Sunrise

The High Sierra Trail Crew is looking for a few volunteers to help clean up the aftermath of a marijuana farm in the Sierra National Forest.

The High Sierra Volunteer Trail crew has been maintaining forest trails for more than a decade. Several weekends each year they trek into the back country and make the trails passable for hikers, mountain bikers and horseback riders.

Trail Crew founder Shane Krogen joined us on KSEE Sunrise to talk about the volunteer organization, and next weekend's trail crew which runs from October 18th to the 20th. The deadline to signup is Monday, October 15 at 5:00 p.m.

For more information, or to volunteer, call Shane at 559-250-9360 or go to: High Sierra Trail Crew
